I was truly humbled and grateful to compete in my first Muay Thai competition after training diligently for just 2.5 months. What started as a way to try something new outside of my comfort zone and stay in shape quickly turned into a journey of growth and connection. Along the way, I’ve met incredible people who have inspired me, and I’ve decided to stay committed to this path.
Deciding to compete was also a heartfelt way to show my little girl the importance of perseverance and consistency—reminding her that “practice makes perfect,” as I’ve always told her. I see this as an opportunity to lead by example and be a testimony of dedication and faith.
This journey has become more than just training; it’s been about self-discovery and learning new lessons every day. I give all the glory to God and want to thank the entire RFA Family for their unwavering support.
As Philippians 4:13 reminds us, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I am truly blessed to be on this journey!
