Thank you to everyone that have made the last 28 years of fire fighting and charter a success.
Homestead Helicopters has recently sold our Bell 407Hp's and all fire fighting equipment to Baker Aircraft and have surrendered our 135 Air Carrier Operations Certificate to the FAA. We are maintaining our 133 External Load and 137 Agricultural Certificates as we search for a new helicopter for non-governmental work.
The challenges of working with the Bureaucracies of the United States Government, increased inflation, Cost of Operations, Regulatory compliance, and lack of qualified personnel have all contributed to our decision to seek a different path.
We are saddened by this decision as we and I really loved the opportunity to serve our community and country.

Seasonal positions for helicopter ground support crew member. Responsibilities include: driving support/fuel truck, helping maintain helicopter(fueling, cleaning, rigging, ect.). Based in Missoula,MT or Salmon,ID with possibility of traveling USA. All travel paid for when away from home base. Daily per Diem paid when away from Missoula.

Daily or hourly pay with overtime.

Requirements for employment:

- cdl, minimum class c with hazmat endorsement

-random drug testing

- competent computer and mechanical skills

- personal credit card and cell phone with data plan

- Good Condition Driving record

COVID-19 considerations:
Extensive covid plan in place. Follow all cdc guidelines.
