A truck broke down in the middle of the desert.
$45,000 in fresh tomatoes inside. 3 hours of cold left.
The transmission failed somewhere between Dallas and Phoenix. The driver was stranded on the I-10 — middle of New Mexico, no town for miles, 108°F outside.
And the re**er was still running.
The diesel gauge kept dropping. 3 hours of cold left. No diesel means no refrigeration. No refrigeration means the trailer becomes an oven. $45,000 in produce about to turn into waste.
