We all have a LOT to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Please continue to keep in touch with friends and loved ones. This is a tough time of year for many families. Collin and Jonathan lost their dad in the Lewiston shooting, as did Abby. Out thoughts and prayers continue to go out to them. Hugs and happy memories are still heading your way. Love you, folks.

For those of you who remember Chip Gross, the gentleman who referred to us ladies as, dear, he’s finally home from having his leg amputated. Keep him in your prayers. He’s in good spirits and hoping to hunt turkey this spring.

A BIG congratulations goes out to Team Doinker's Dave Cousins on becoming the Champion in Men's Compound and setting Two New National Records at the 2016 USA Archery National Field Championships in Yankton, South Dakota! This has earned Dave a spot on the men's team that will represent USA at the World Field Championships in Dublin Ireland.

Saturday, July 23 is a JOAD camping opportunity at Penny and Jim's house, Stephanie's parents. They have an open two bay garage, in ground pool, horseshoe pit, volleyball/ badminton set up and space for tents and campers. They are right in Poland and Jim is the grill MASTER! This would give the kids plenty to do while we all get a chance to visit. If your family has EVER been involved in JOAD, including Coach Roland, and instructors and strong fans, like Dave and Alan, are encouraged to attend. Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult. It's a safety thing, especially with the pool. Meat on the grill is provided. Tips are welcome. people are welcome to come at noon, but the BBQ is dinner around 6:00. For this reason, we MUST HAVE an RSVP to make sure enough field is mowed for parking and there's plenty of food. You can call me or Penny Foster, who has a FB page, too, so we can keep track of who is bringing what for salads, munchies, desserts etc. by the way, there are two fridges, so BYOB, please. All set up for sales and service at 86 Jackass Annie Rd in Minot. Tom completed a string job yesterday. We only take cash or checks now. We kept the shop number for Tom's cell phone, so we're accessible any time, anywhere. Saturdays are just not the same without our JOAD family. it is nice to get projects done... When we can scrounge up the motivation with all this unstructured time. Keep in touch ya'll. It's not just business, it's quality relationships. We are here for you and thank you for so many happy memories and look forward to more to come.

Before you hear it from someone else, we are closing this month. This will be our last month of JOAD, as our targets will be sold. The service center will move back to our two bay garage in Minot. Last year was our record sales high and this year, our record low. At over $4,000/mo to stay open in winter months, we just can't do it. We love our archery family and thank you for 14 years of your loyal support. Please keep in touch. The last Saturay of this month is a Halloween party for all, starting at 11. We would love to see you.

For all the families who came over to make happy memories with us, thank you for your friendship and good humor... great food treats, too. That was bar none, the slipperiest volleyball game I've EVER played. I still have maple pecan pie, s'mores bake yummy, and rainbow plush cake to work off. I guess I should get some yard work started.
