Here are 5 tips to protecting your furniture when moving:
1. Wrap furniture in a moving blanket with stretch or bubble wrap.

2. Disassemble as much furniture as you can. Things like bed frames and tables are are perfect pieces to break down before a move. Once disassembled place screws, nuts and bolts in labeled bags.

3. Use special moving equipment like a dolly or a hand truck for larger heavier items.

4. Use glides, towels, card board or felt pads underneath the furniture. This will prevent both floor and furniture parts from scratching.
5. Once you unpacked and reassemble your furniture make sure to wipe your furniture clean. It is common for furniture to accumulate dust especially when traveling.
