Move - Explore - Create - Learn - Grow ~~ 2 Child Care Aware Tranings accomplished!!!! Empowering early childhood educators to engage with the children they serve using Mindfulenss & Movement was so encouraging. They were all so eager to learn and try these new techniques out!!! They are our Everyday Hero’s!!!

STEPS will offer more trainings, and can’t wait!!!! 😍

In August, STEPS held a class outside for nannies and the children they care for. I witnessed engaged, loving, attentive, and caring nannies who supported and danced with the children they care for.STEPS is available to offer a fall session for anyone who is interested in creating a pod or joining us on Fridays at 10:30-11:30AM. Here’s a snipet of our nourishing time together. ❤️

What helps you feel calm? For me it’s water, being by a lake, river, bay, ocean, even a pond water makes me feel calm! Figuring out what helps us feel calm is a part of emotional awareness. By having the awareness, one is able to seek out calmness when feeling worried, anxious, and mad. Helping children seek out what helps them feel calm is a wonderful tool for them at home and school too!!!!

Movement can be woven into everyday activities even baking and decorating cookies!! Put on some fun dinosaur songs, release some energy that might be cooped up on rainy days. 🦖🦕STOMP, ROAR, CRAWL, DIG, MOVE get creative, have fun, and enjoy!!!! Maybe your cookie cutters are other animal shapes have fun moving like those animals too!!!! 🐢🐠🐘🐝
