Happy Birthday to my beautiful, amazing wife!! ❤️

The greatest adventure of my life is still the one I get to live every single day with you. With each chapter end, another exciting one begins. From van life’s winding roads and breathtaking views to the quieter moments of building what’s next together, every season with you has been full of “oohs and aahs,” laughter, love, and memories I’ll cherish forever.

You are still — and always will be — the one above and beyond. You love so deeply and unconditionally, and you make me a better man just by walking beside me. No matter where we are parked or planted, home is wherever I’m with you.

I’m so thankful for all the firsts we’ve shared, the dreams we’ve chased, and the new adventures waiting ahead. I’m beyond excited to celebrate you today and every day as we keep writing our story together.

San Ignacio to Playa Santispac

We said goodbye to the Gray Whales in Guerrero Negro and headed to the beach. We stopped at a few sweet spots along the way and found our home for the next 3 nights at Playa Santispac on Bahía Concepcion. It is gorgeous here! We can’t wait to soak up all of the feels the next few days before we head back to the states.

What a hidden gem this place is…

The beauty of van life is that when you find a surprise spot… that unexpectedly steals your heart… you don’t have to leave if you don’t want to. This place feels like vacation every day… even when Chad has to work or we are just running errands and doing van chores. So, we are sticking around Lake Havasu City for a bit… plus tomorrow is supposed to be super sunny and warm… perfect for a beach day..(and tomorrow IS kind of a big deal🤭☺️)

1-We stumbled upon another super cute place here today (which I think we will be having dinner at tomorrow because this place has Key Lime Pie❤️❤️❤️) right near the London Bridge called The English Village

2-We stopped for a beer and Chad had some wings.. check out this presentation!!! 🌺

5-Pizza night…. Front one is BBQ chicken (bbq sauce, shredded chicken, minced red peppers, minced red onion, shredded pepper jack then after cooking topped with onion straws)… SOOOO GOOD! Back one is pepperoni, green olive…

Recap of 2024

1 - We rang in 2024 in Nashville at the Big Bash. Then a Recession Special at Robert’s for the overpriced drinks on NYE.

2 - We booked last@minute trip to Sedona in February. It took us out of our comfort zone at times, as well as made us stop, take a deep breath and enjoy the beauty.

3 - We escaped another spring break winter storm to beautiful Jamaica.🇯🇲 A week relaxing at an all-inclusive beach resort… enough said.

4 - April was chill as we celebrated our girls 20th, visited our fave brewery and a Kenny Chesney concert.

5 - May brought Prom, an 18th birthday & graduation for the our handsome young man. In between we jetted back to our fave state of CO. The days exploring Leadville and BV left us yearning for more of the mountain life. Oh and we summited Pikes Peak (by driving)

6 - June kept us grounded in MN enjoying family time, grilling and favorites.

7 - July started with a Cubs win and fireworks at Navy Pier… then ended majestically with a van life trip we’ve dreamed of since 2020! This experience was the beginning of drastically changing our mindset.

8 - August continued the van life…giant redwoods, wineries and beautiful sunsets.

9 - A September road trip to Omaha where we made the biggest decision to change our life…and home projects began.

10 - October we flew to CA to bring our new home to be…home. Van life begins!

11 - November was getting a home ready to sell. And petting a chicken.

12 - Then family time, selling everything, and van road trip to AZ to avoid MN winter.

13 - December began finishing the AZ van road trip, a concert, and putting the van in storage for now.

14 - December ended with selling our house, putting everything we own left into storage, boarding a flight and celebrating New Year’s Eve in CO.

As 2025 begins, we’re ready for the new adventures of van life and traveling full time!
