Tim Hoelter was honored for his public service to the City of Milwaukee Board of Harbor Commissioners on Thursday.

Tim spent his career at Harley-Davidson and has been on the Harbor Commission for 30 years. He has been chair for 18 of those years and has guided a lot of change in Milwaukee. He demonstrated steady and consistent leadership that resulted in the current Summerfest lease, the development of Discovery World, the growth in cruise ship activity, the development of the Lake Express Terminal, and two of the largest industrial investments at the Port since the 1950s (the The DeLong Co., Inc. agricultural export terminal and Komatsu Mining).

Port Milwaukee thanks Tim for his 30 years of service on the board!

Vice chair Diane Diel will serve as the new board chair. Craig Mastantuono was elected vice chair.
