Brand new to paddling? Looking for a quick refresher? In the first video of our Paddling Basics series, Acadia from Milwaukee Kayak Company shares a few things to bring along for your next kayaking trip to help you stay comfortable on the water.

Looking for a hands-on learning experience? Join Milwaukee Riverkeeper and Milwaukee Kayak Company for an Introduction to Urban Paddling on June 16th. Three sessions are available. First one starts at 4:30 PM! Registration is available through the Events page on Milwaukee Riverkeeper's website. Our MKE River-Round Up series hits the waters again this month, with our first date set for June 17th!

We’ll be launching kayaks from our Twisted Fisherman location (1200 W Canal St) at 5 PM every Wednesday evening, and paddling from 5 PM - 8 PM. After parties will be at Twisted Fisherman, from 8 PM - 10 PM.

Hi everyone! Our Golden Hour Paddles begin this Thursday, June 4th.

Join us from 5:30-8pm as we paddle together, exploring the Milwaukee, Menomonee and Harbor/Hoan bridge. We’ll decide the route as we gather together before we launch. Kayaks, life jackets, paddles and dry bags included. Registration required please!

What to bring: water bottle, camera, wear athletic clothing, thin soles shoes/sandals, an extra layer/wind breaker, sunscreen and good vibes!
