A very special chapter meeting Saturday evening with Susan Johnson as our guest speaker.
Susan came to us as a 13 year old Young Eagle, learned to fly at 16 in a Pietenpol Air Camper with our Toledo Buzzards Light Sport Aircraft Club, and before leaving for the US Naval Academy earned her private pilots license.
She is now a Navy Lt flying the F18 Growler!
Unfortunately the Pietenpol was down for service when she visited, so she wasn’t able to fly her “favorite” airplane.
We at EAA 582 are so proud of her accomplishments and we thank her for her service!

A fun EAA 582 fly-out today to Eagle Creek Airport (KEYE) and Ricks Cafe Boatyard restaurant! Good friends, great food and beautiful scenery!
The FBO at Eagle Creek is excellent, and the restaurant is right across the street.

Two Chicks Birdhouses & Feeders will be hosting the Bluebird House Workshop this Sunday , June 14th starting at 1pm.

TWO Chicks Birdhouses & Feeders offers an educational workshop for people to build their own Bluebird House from start to finish. Learn all about the Eastern Bluebird as you are assisted in building your own Bluebird house. All material, hardware, and tools are provided. Recommended for ages 8 (adult assistance is encouraged) through adult.
