Glad to have a great sale barn in Miles City!!

5 States. 5 Days. 7 Auction Markets.

Day 2 of the USCA Sale Barn Tour takes us to Miles City Livestock Commission in Miles City, Montana!

Miles City has a long history in the livestock business. The market first made its name selling horses, including horses shipped around the world for military use. Cattle sales were added in 1941, and the auction moved to its present location in 1950.

Bart Meged and three partners purchased the auction in 1991. In 2015, Bart and Misty Meged became sole owners, continuing the market’s role in connecting area ranchers with cattle buyers.

We’ll be there on a busy sale day, with a Pre-Vaccinated Feeder Calf and Feeder Calf Special on the calendar. There should be plenty happening around the yards!

It was a successful Bucking Horse Sale parade! Great way to celebrate and participate in the 75th anniversary.

Big thanks to Dustin for all his hard work getting the truck and trailer all clean, shiny and looking so good.

Also thank you to the crew Justin, Troy, and Jeff for representing us and throwing out candy.

It was such a fun time! Thank you to everyone that helped and all our customers for your continued support.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet so many people struggle in silence. This month is a reminder to check in, with yourself and with the people around you.

Whether it’s taking a break, talking to someone you trust, or simply allowing yourself to rest… it all matters.

You are not alone, and support is always out there. Let’s keep the conversation going, reduce stigma, and create a world where everyone feels safe asking for help.
