SORRY FOR THE LONG POST! Another sad day to add to 2020😢😢😢 This is my last load with my company, this truck/ trailer and as a owner op for now. I’m not sayin that I won’t come back to O/O in a few years or so, but right now this isn’t the right path for me to be on. One of the last things my mom said to me was to do what’s right for you and your future. My company had been in a pretty rapid decline since last year in April when my trailer got smashed and then for me when I got hit and pushed into the ditch in July loosing my dream/baby Black Betty was when I knew that I was done. Trucks are material things that can be replaced of course, but when you’ve been thru the s**t I’ve been thru and finally get to a point where you are happy and proud of what you are doin it is the best feeling in the world. A friend of my always says “if you love what you do, you will never work another day in your life.” Everyday felt like a vacation when I had that truck and I lost that when I lost her. Someone people will say I’m crazy, but they don’t know this life. We are truckers no matter what people think of us and most of us have pride in our rides. Enuff rambling, this chapter is over and it’s time to start a new on Monday with a new truck and a new boss. Til we meet again WICKED TRANSPORT is out!✌️

P.S. the truck is sold, but I’m still looking for a buyer on the trailer. $35k let me know if your interested.

So this morning some weird s**t happened. I was cruisin on 69 north of Indy comin up on the area where I lost Betty and I’ll be damned if Boyz 2 Men: Its so hard to say goodbye didn’t start playin on my radio! I was like damn kinda hits the feels a little!😢😢😢

First wash for the new rig today! I made some changes as you can tell. New visor, headlights, grille, bumper, roof lights, tank covers, shifter and rear bumper. I got some half fenders that I’m picking up brackets for that gotta go on, 9 lights across the rear of the sleeper, 7” exhaust tips for now and a fridge, tool box and couch for the sleeper. It’s coming together and lookin good!!! Last pic is when I bought it a few weeks ago and the light that’s out has already been taken care of lol

It been a little while since I posted after loosing my girl Betty back on July. I’ve gotten some things worked out and here is the new rig that will be flyin the Wicked Transport stickers. It’s a 2005 KW W900L with a twin turbo Cat and 13 speeds to get her on down the road. First pic is from the add and the other few are a few changes I’ve made so far. See ya out on the big road soon!✌️

Today was a rough day. I had to travel to Indianapolis to clean Betty out and see her for the last time. A few weeks back my bad luck came to a head when I was sideswiped by a 4 wheeler and pushed into a ditch. The car kept goin and my insurance decided that the truck wasn’t worth fixing. They were asking to much for the salvage and I don’t have the time or the money to do the repairs necessary to get it back on the road. I am very heartbroken about the whole situation and I’m really gonna miss that truck. I’m working on getting another rig now and will hopefully have a answer by the end of today. On a good note if there is one for Betty, I was contacted by the guy who bought the salvage and his plans are to put her back to the way I had her, get her on the road and take her to some shows. We might cross paths again at some point. For now I say farewell and I will post when I have new info. ✌️

It’s been a few months, but me and Betty are coming back to running my own authority. The leasing didn’t work out. Happy 4th to everyone from Wicked Transport!!!!

After almost 8 years and over 1200 loads I am putting Wicked Transport on the backburner for a little while. I will still be a owner/op running under the name Wicked Transport, but leased onto a new friends company Busche Farms. The owner was nice enuff to let me borrow a trailer and during that time we have talked and became quick friends leading to him offering to let me lease on with him and run his loads. He has good paying, consistent contracted freight that will help bring in a steady income. The recent months have been hard with brokers, freight and rates taking a dramatic drop and I’m looking to grow my business. It is pride thing and hard for me to essentially give up on 8 years of hard work building Wicked Transport under my own authority, but sometimes taking a chance is what helps to bring something back to life. Thanks to everyone that has supported and helped along the way. Keep an eye out for updates coming soon on Betty! ✌️

So Wicked Transport took a hit yesterday, literally. From what I can put together a car was trying to avoid slamming into stopped traffic and swerved taking out my trailer instead. It’s a setback, but it will get figured out and Wicked will come back stronger!

Photos of the interior! Still got some cleaning and lights to install, but it turned out pretty damn good for doin it myself!

Got some of the sleeper interior panels started on Betty today. It’s comin together real nice, but I’m a few hundred buttons short. Hopefully I can get them made and installed in the next few weeks before the big World of Wheels show in Chicago!
