Happy Paper Airplane Day!!!

Come celebrate with us this evening from 5:30 - 7:00pm. Bring a plane from home or fold one here and let them fly! There will be age group awards for furthest distance - winners receive a trophy and $10 gift card to Aviator Cookie Company!

Due to the expected rain tomorrow we are going to move tomorrow's Home School STEM Day to NEXT Tuesday, May 19!

While moving the event indoors was considered, it would rob the kids of the opportunity to sit in an airplane and utilize other educational features of our Aviation Discovery Area such as the miniature runways and compass rose.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause - we want to be sure that we are able to provide the best event we can.

Our friends at EAA 1093 host an amazing Aviation Camp every year for high school aged students. The camp covers basic aviation topics but also focuses on careers in aviation. There are daily speakers including many types of pilots, air traffic controllers and mechanics.

There are very few spots left for camp, which is June 22 - 26 from 10:00am - 4:30pm. It fills quickly so if you are interested act fast!

Kiddos will listen to two books and then make a craft to take home to mom!

Are you ready for a delicious breakfast and aviation fun this weekend?

Our friends at EAA Chapter 1093: are holding their Pancake Breakfast this Saturday, May 2 from 7-11am. Come enjoy pancakes, eggs, sausages and our incredible homemade doughnuts!

Be sure to send the kids over to the youth activities while you check out the aircraft that have flown in.

It's always a great time and supports an even greater cause: the proceeds from the breakfast help the Chapter continue to Share the Spirit of Aviation through programs such as scholarships, education events like Camp and Career Day, an aircraft build and more.
