We are a family owned trucking company based in Middleville, MI. We have been in the transportation industry for 20 yrs, so we can proudly say that we know what you have to go through each day on the road!!!
Grand Rapids Express now operates 2025, 2026 Freightliner Cascadias and 2025, 2026 Volvo 860, equipped with cattle guard, inverter, fridge, Samsara ELD, Drivewyze, and Bestpass. Our trailers are Wabash Duraplate dry vans.
We are licensed nationwide but prefer to stay away from the deep east coast (unless a driver specifically request it due to home time for example).
Our drivers average around 2500 miles weekly but a few of our best ones consistently break over 3000 miles per week!
We require a minimum of 2 years driving experience, clean driving record with no major violations and ability to pass a drug test and background check.
We require drivers to stay on the road for a minimum of 2 weeks before home time but we will honor occasional requests and bring a driver home in case of emergencies or other valid reasons.
All of our drivers are paid W-2 via weekly direct deposit. Most of our freight is drop and hook, but on occasion, we come across loads that require a driver or multiple stops which we also pay, as driver bonus.
Also, weekly advances of $200.00 are automatically loaded to drivers fuel cards every week, starting on the first day of driving.
Team Drivers & Owner Operators with 2022 or newer equipment are welcome to apply as we have the miles.

Watch Out on the roads as there are all kinds of drivers. Thank goodness that we have cameras these days that help make it clear what happens in accidents like this.
