Know How to Go SCCT Know How To Go South Central CT provides mobility management for New Haven and Middlesex counties.

Mobility management is a customer-focused approach to managing and delivering coordinated transportation services, often focusing on individuals who may face challenges accessing transportation, such as older adults, people with disabilities, and low-income individuals. It involves a variety of strategies, including identifying customer needs, coordinating various transportation providers, and promoting innovative technologies. Mobility management aims to improve accessibility and efficiency for all users within a community. We provide these services to residents of New Haven and Middlesex counties.

Join CTDOT and RiverCOG for the Area Strategic Highway Safety Plan & Vulnerable Roadway Safety Assessment Update Workshop on Wednesday, October 21st from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chester Meeting House.

This interactive workshop will bring together transportation professionals, public health and safety partners, advocates, educators, and community leaders to discuss roadway safety challenges, review progress, and help identify priorities for future statewide safety plans.

You may ask how a transportation presentation can be upbeat, but it was. North Haven Seniors are smart, caring, and fun. They spoke about what works for them and what doesn't in transportation. One of the main roads in North Haven does not have a bus that stops by the many senior living housing and senior center. The senior center only has one bus and one driver. If anything happens to their bus or driver, they need other plans to rely on. I come prepared to hand out my information of a business card, a rack, card, and brochures of other transportation, options. We discussed some of those plans but the wish that topped their list was a bus route on their road. So many of our seniors rely on transit. I will help get this message through to the decision makers. We enjoyed pumpkin, munchkins, Lyman Apple C***r, and 2 raffles.
