Starting February 1, 2026, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will require airline passengers without a REAL ID (or other form of acceptable identification, such as a passport) to complete an extra identity check and pay a $45 fee. This identity check will be valid for 10 days. If you are REAL ID compliant you will not have to pay any additional fees. Please visit tsa.gov to learn more.
