We just got the sweetest thank you from The Acorn Center for the Performing Arts! ⛳

We were proud to sponsor a hole at their 3rd Annual Swing for the Arts Golf Outing at The Woodlands Course at Whittaker. Even with the heat, the event sold out and the community showed up in a big way.

Every dollar raised goes toward The Acorn's outreach, educational workshops, and local performing arts programs. We love being part of something that keeps the arts thriving right here at home.

A big thank you to Julie and the whole Acorn team for having us, and for tucking our business cards into the swag bags too. We can't wait for next year! 💙🎭

Saturday was a busy one around here! 🚐

All four of our cars were out on the road, Jeremy was behind the wheel, and I was home tackling weekend chores with the kids.

That included folding the microfiber cloths we use to keep the vans clean, and our littlest helper was more than happy to jump in. Her folding technique might need a little work, but the enthusiasm was 100%. 😄

Every clean ride starts somewhere, and sometimes it starts right on our living room couch. 💙

Two spooky dates for your calendar! 🎃

We're planning to be at Trick-or-Treat on Franklin Street on Saturday, October 24 from 2 to 5pm. It kicks off at 7th and Franklin with a costume contest, a Thriller dance, food trucks, and plenty of candy.

Then on Halloween, catch us at Malloween at Lighthouse Place from 12 to 2pm CT.

Come say hi, show off your costumes, and grab a treat from us. We'd love to see you there! 👻🍬

Ready or not, here we come! 👀

Richard left Michigan City at 3:30am last week for an early drop-off at Rush in Chicago. Getting there before sunrise meant he snagged the best parking spot in the garage, and he could keep an eye on the car the whole time he waited.

Meet Chris, one of the newest faces behind the wheel at PrivaDrive! 👋

Chris grew up in the Beverly neighborhood on Chicago's South Side and moved to Michigan City back in 2003. She and her husband John ran Duneland Home & Hardware in Karwick Plaza for years before closing that chapter and starting a new one with us.

She knows Chicago like the back of her hand and loves exploring Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan just as much. Her favorite part of the job? Meeting new people, including plenty of familiar faces from her hardware store days and her old Beverly neighborhood.

If she picks you up, say hi! We're so glad to have her on the team. 💙

We put up our Halloween decorations this weekend! 🎃

Jack Skellington is towering over the yard, the witchy cat is perched and ready, and we even got the big guys working this year. Stella covered the porch in cobwebs, and caution tape, which works great with our huge spiderweb. She also turned our hallway into its own little spooky tunnel with lights and all. Lexi is a huge fan of the whole lineup, and keeps asking to go outside to see her "friends."😅

Safe to say the spooky season has officially arrived at our house, aside from costumes, which we're still trying to figure out how to get everyone to decide what they want to be. 👻
