Summer - slow season in Florida?

The hottest summer month is here, borders are still closed for the majority of us, but people still want to and do go on vacations.

Is Florida a bad idea in the summertime?
⠀
Summer is traditionally considered to be the “slow season” in Florida, but it doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to do here during summer months.
⠀
Here are actually some perks of going to Florida during slow season.
⠀
1. The ocean is SUPER warm! 😍👌🏻 The water temperature is just perfect and you just don’t want to leave it for hours.
2. Sharks don’t really like warm waters 😜
3. Less people obviously, but then it’s much more relaxing.
4. There are many things to do and see in Florida, and we really recommend going to the springs, and summer is actually the best time to go, because the water is ice cold there and you won’t really enjoy it there in winter. (Google Devil’s Den photos, for example, it’s amazing).
5. Miami Spice! 😋 all restaurants have fixed price menus and you can dine for just $39 (3 course meal) in the best restaurants! 🍽

- great location, amazing views of Miami sky line. Service could be better but it is not always bad, and the brunch menu itself is great too.

- is open to members of Soho Beach House, as well as the public. Daily opening hours are 8 AM - 10 PM by reservation only. We love it!!! 😍👌🏻

- always a great idea, we love spending Sundays there and we also mentioned them in the previous post with restaurants recommendations.

- Great greek menu, $5 drinks and appetizers for happy hours 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

- A mainstay on the Miami brunch circuit, the Biltmore Hotel’s epic Sunday champagne shindig is as extravagant and indulgent as they come. A seemingly endless buffet of crustaceans, multiple food stations (breakfast, carving, caviar, etc.,), more baked goods than your blood-sugar can handle and flowing—like a steady, boozy stream—champagne, rosé, mimosas and more. Hovering around the $100 mark, it’s an expensive option but one worth the splurge for special occasions.

- A bougie, boozy brunch that’s worth every penny. Zuma’s lavish buffet (ranging from $95–$395, inclusive of unlimited premium drinks) features dinner-menu favorites and a satisfying selection of sushi.
