On this Patriot Day, we pause to remember a day that changed our world forever. The clear blue sky of that September morning holds a profound and solemn memory for all, but especially for those of us in the aviation community.

Today, we honor the nearly 3,000 lives taken from us in New York City, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. We remember the passengers and crew, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless heroes whose bravery shone through the darkness.
Their stories, their sacrifice, and the unity that followed will never be forgotten. As we look to the skies today, we do so with heavy hearts but also with a renewed sense of resilience and hope for a world united in peace.
