TOTAL TRUST Transport DELIVERING HAPPY TAILS I transport for rescues to adopters &/or fosters or to their out of state partnerships, regional offices & directly to adopters, etc.

I started private transport as I was asked by a rescue to please transport several doggies to their partner rescue in upstate New York after very unfavorable experiences with 2 other transporters. It has snowballed since then & I have been contacted with other requests from rescues needing time sensitive transport as well as private individuals for many specific reasons. I make sure, as do the res

cues, that home checks etc. are done well in advance by all concerned parties. I would have no problem in refusing to complete a transport if something was "amiss" & have done so on more than 1 occasion. I worked as an Over The Road Tractor Trailer driver and still maintain my CDL License & have experience carrying valuable, precious cargo. My 2 passions are Doggies & Driving . . I have been blessed to have this opportunity to combine both.

You think horse slaughter is a small problem...this is just one pile of halters after one day at the kill pen where horses shipped. Horses who were once loved family animals, horses being cheered on while they raced, horses who helped disabled children and worked as therapy animals...all discarded. We need to put an end to this!

Trail cam snaps photo of an opossum eating ticks off of a willing deer's head! Edit: PHOTO by Greg Swann, who told VWC that indeed the opossum was nibbling ticks!

Opossums can eat up to 5000 ticks in a 2-3 month period, and are resistant to rabies due to their low body temperature. Excellent allies in curbing this particular lyme disease vector.

Trappers don't like them becaue they trigger traps set for coyote and other animals.
