Back from another Walt Disney World trip, and while I’ll be the first to admit that Disney is not exactly what I’d call a relaxing vacation 😂… there’s just something about it that keeps us coming back. ✨
I feel incredibly lucky that I’ve been able to experience Disney with my own kids over the years - but even more special is that they’ve gotten to experience the “Most Magical Place on Earth” with their grandparents. 🥰
When I was a kid, we would visit Walt Disney World while visiting my grandparents, who lived in Florida, and I still have so many memories from those trips. Now, all these years later, I get to watch my kids make Disney memories with their grandparents. That part is pretty special.
And then there’s my dad. 😂 After our last large family Disney trip 9 years ago, he pretty much swore he was never going back. Apparently the grandkids are very persuasive, because somehow they convinced him to give it another shot.
And guess what?
He had a ball. ❤️
So much so that he actually said he’d go again… just NEVER in the summer heat. 🥵😂 Fair enough, Dad.
We packed a lot into this trip, laughed a lot, walked way too many miles, sweated more than I care to remember, and made some really great memories together.
Disney certainly isn’t for everyone, and it doesn’t have to be your every-year vacation. Take the beach vacation. Go on the cruise. Explore somewhere completely new. I’m all for ALL of it. 🌴🚢🌎
But if you’ve never experienced Walt Disney World, I do think it’s worth doing at least once—especially if you have the opportunity to experience it with people you love.
You might just be surprised by how much you love it. ✨🏰
