Traveled to Seville today but stopped in Cordoba first. Such an interesting city with so much history. It was once the largest and most advanced city in the world. It’s also known for the mix of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish cultures. We visited the famous Mosque–Cathedral of Cordoba, which started as a mosque in the 700s and later became a cathedral after the Christian Reconquest. Definitely glad we got to stop there!

We really enjoyed Barcelona but… I think Madrid wins for me as the more beautiful city. The parks, all the greenery, how clean everything is, and just the overall feel of the city. Did lots of walking today and visited the Prado Museum, Royal Palace of Madrid, caught more of the festival around Plaza Mayor, and did a little shopping along Gran Vía.

Spent most of the day traveling from Barcelona to Madrid, but got some time late afternoon and tonight to explore. Saw the locals dressed up celebrating the Feast of San Isidro. So many people, but such a great vibe and atmosphere!

Last day in Barcelona.Started with visiting Montserrat - the mountain views and rock formations are absolutely beautiful! Then back to the city for a bus tour seeing more of Barcelona’s highlights and a little shopping along Passeig de Gracia.

Today was all about Antoni Gaudi in Barcelona. We visited Sagrada Família — the pictures don’t do it justice — and Park Guell. Loved learning all about him, his vision, and the incredible projects he created.

First day of our Spain & Portugal adventure! 🇪🇸🇵🇹

Definitely tired from the overnight flight, lack of sleep, and the 6-hour time difference… but explored Barcelona for the day.

We walked around the city, visited the Barcelona Cathedral - beautiful!, and explored the Gothic Quarter and El Born. We were just starting to walk through Parc de la Ciutadella when the thunder and lightning started, and we almost (but didn’t 😬) make it to the metro before the skies completely opened up on us. 🥴☔️ That was a good excuse to turn in for the night!

It officially opens June 1st but I have to wait until later this year to experience it myself on a trip planned with the family. 😀

After a lot of thought, I’m officially making the move to go fully independent with Precisely Planned Travel 🎉

Okay Aruba fans… Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusives are getting some exciting upgrades. 🌴✨

Coming late fall 2026:
A brand-new rooftop bar and cocktail lounge with panoramic ocean views, sunset cocktails, live music, DJ sets, craft drinks, dry ice presentations, and light bites.

Translation: sunset, ocean breeze, fancy cocktail in hand… yes please.

And coming December 2026:
