The Thomas Flyer has been owned and operated by Captains Jimbo and Rick Thomas since 1981. Miami natives, Captains Jimbo and Rick grew up fishing South Florida for the many abundant offshore species that frequent the warm blue gulf stream waters. Docked at the beautiful Bayside Marketplace in the heart of downtown Miami, the Thomas Flyer is easily reached from all directions. The Thomas Flyer is a

42’ post sportfisherman powered by twin diesel Cummins. It is fully equipped for fishing, and caters to both the amateur and the advanced. Charter Information:
Hiring the Thomas Flyer charter boat with an experienced local captain greatly increases your odds for catching. All that is needed for you to bring is food, drinks, sunscreen, rain gear and a cooler to bring home some fish – which are cleaned for you! Our half-day trips are roughly 4 1/2 hours - from approx. 7am to 11:30am for the morning, or from 12:30pm to 5pm in the afternoon. The full day trip is from 7am to 4pm. A typical day of fishing on the Thomas Flyer catches could include sailfish, dolphin, kingfish, wahoo, blackfin tuna, and deep dropping fish such as swordfish,golden tilefish, yellow eyed snapper, or snowy grouper. Captains Jimbo and Rick Thomas will give every effort to make sure your charter is a memorable trip.
