‼️I bet you’ve never didn’t know this hike existed in Spain

A 7.7 km trail pinned to cliffs 100m above the Guadalhorce River, cutting through the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes gorge.

⚠️ I would not say it’s difficult. I found it easy, but if you are afraid of heights this might not be for you.

🚗 Best reached by car as part of a wider Malaga or South of Spain roadtrip. There are also train and public buses options.

‼️One of the most unreal places in the France 🤯

Known as “Nature’s Colosseum,” this massive mountain amphitheater surrounds one of the highest waterfalls in Europe.

Two things to know before visiting:

1️⃣ Once you cross the little bridge, take any legal parking space you can find.

We somehow missed the DO NOT ENTER sign and ended up driving beside the river on a very narrow path.

Turns out that was the trail 🥴

2️⃣ Visit between May and September if you want to see the waterfalls flowing with less snow around the cirque.

An underground river carved a cave here. Most of its ceiling collapsed, but one section stayed standing.

That’s the Natural Bridge, and Route 11 runs right across the top of it.

🚗 To actually see what you drove over, stop at the park and walk down Cedar Creek Trail. There are 137 steps to get down to the bridge (and back up).
