Metamora is seeing catastrophic flooding currently of the whitewater river. With more storms said to be on the way we could definitely use your prayers for all of the shop keepers and neighbors of Metamora including those all along the whitewater river that have been affected by this event.

The Metamora Barnyard will be closed until further notice for damage assessment and cleanup once the water receades.

Back open today though still somewhat recovering, the stomach bug going around is no joke. Sorry again to those who wanted to ride yesterday, some things unfortunately cannot be avoided.

Big night in Metamora, Indiana with a sense of accomplishment for our community and it's leaders that have worked so tirelessly to see through obtaining the funding to preserve the whitewater canal state historic site for hopefully many future generations to come, and for that we thank them!
