The Lake LA-250 “Renegade” is a formidable amphibious aircraft. Originally designed by Grumman as a light amphibian called the “Tadpole”, it was later developed into a family of amphibious aircraft by David Thurston.
Marsh’s connection with Grumman aircraft is deeply rooted in our turbine conversion projects for the S-2 “Tracker”, C-1A “Trader” and the HU-16/G-111 “Albatross”. A Turbine Lake adds value and operational capabilities, and continues a great tradition of turbine aircraft conversions at Marsh.
