Graveside services for Dot Fulcher Dorr are Saturday at 1 p.m. at Fletcher's Chapel Methodist Church located south of Yazoo City. Turn east off Highway 49 on Myrleville Road until you reach the intersection of Fletcher's Chapel Rd and turn right. Church located only 100 yards from intersection. If driving north on 49 turn east (right) on Fletcher's Chapel Rd and you will run into the church.

Dot Dorr passed away last night- I am sorry to tell you that Gerri Logan called me last night and said that her sister, Dot Dorr, passed away last. Funeral arrangements will be handle by Strickland-King in Yazoo City. More details later.

No water. It's safe for now. If the levee had broken a few miles north where there were weak spots, it may have been under 5 feet of water like was predicted for Cleveland. But no problems. Just need more planes at the 4th Annual Fly-In and pilots' reunion. YOu coming?

October 20-22 is the date for the 2011 Fly-In at Dorr Field. It will be the 4th Annual. Thanks for spreading the word. Dot Dorr is expecting you to be there.

Visited with Dot yesterday. Surgery went well at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Plans are for her to move to North Sunflower Hospital in Ruleville, Miss. possibly as early as Tuesday afternoon where she will begin her rehab.
