Just a friendly reminder: The flies are here and 99% of horses will not stand to be worked on when they are getting bit. Try to be prepared and have quality fly spray and plenty of it! Fly boots, sheets and masks help a lot also. I can’t do my best work when I’m fighting just to keep a foot up.

I normally have extra fly spray and fly boots for purchase in the truck in case that’s handy for you.

I will not apologize for my pricing.

No small business should.

My pricing allows me to make a profit.

Which allows me to pay my bills.

Which also allows me to stay in business.

My pricing allows me to employ people.

Which allows them to pay their bills.

My pricing allows me to pay myself for the countless hours I work. I’m truly never “off the clock”.

My pricing keeps a roof over my head and food on my table.

I own a small business. One where the CEO knows your name and truly cares about you.

I am not Walmart (a 500 billion dollar company). I’m unable to provide things at the “lowest price”, order millions of units, and still stay in business.

Im not the “cheapest”. I’m also not “the most expensive”.

My pricing is what it is to allow this small business to keep going which allows me to keep making a positive impact.

I will not apologize for my pricing because I shouldn't.

No small business should.

Effective immediately there will be a trip charge added based on distance. Yes some regular prices had just gone up but i was behind on doing that and didn’t account for the huge jump in fuel. As always, you’re welcome to haul to us. Hopefully when/if things straighten up we can drop the added charge. Thank you

Just wanted to educate a little.. with the nice weather, you might be out riding in the bean fields or maybe trees. This hasn’t happened often, but Occasionally small sticks or bean stubble can puncture the frog. They can be extremely hard to see, but if your horse suddenly comes up lame, be sure to clean out their feet thoroughly, and use a brush to get them extra clean. If they seem tender anywhere, look closely. When cleaning out this foot, she was slightly tender to picking out the right side of the frog. I didn’t notice it right away but a good 1/2” long piece of stubble was puncturing her frog.

Some recents.. snowball pads and some frog support pads for a horse with a negative plantar angle. Keep in mind if you have horses that need shoes year round for whatever reason, the snowball pads help keep the snow from balling and pins add a little traction. There are options, just because it’s winter doesn’t mean you need to pull shoes off a horse that needs them.
