Fuel/Water Separator Filter
• The #1 fuel contaminant in boats is water
• Ethanol fuel attracts moisture, especially in boats that sit for weeks
• A simple spin-on water-separating filter can stop debris and water before it reaches your engine

Winter is major project season at Anchor Marine.

The week after Thanksgiving through March,the schedule is dedicated to larger repairs like transom rebuilds, new flooring and engine rebuilding. Customers book months ahead, and winter projects receive off-season pricing.

Here we have a Sea Nymph that needed a new transom. The customer opted for the durable, budget-conscious option of a laminated and encapsulated marine plywood transom core.

Projects like this typically run in the $4,500–$5,000 range depending on condition. By booking into the winter schedule, this customer saved $1,500 with off-season pricing.

It’s far more than just changing the lower unit.
⚓ At Anchor Marine, in addition to your requested service, every boat gets:
• A fuel sample check
• A diagnostic scan for fault codes and engine hours (when applicable)
• Personalized service advice based on factory recommendations for your rig – and more!

❄️ Our secured storage is full for the season, but there will be a few openings for Fall ’26–’27.
Boats stored at Anchor Marine are protected within a fenced, insured lot — no public access, no random traffic, no “open lots.” It costs a little more, but your boat’s safety and security are worth it.
⚙️ Doug is scheduled for Mercury University training the week of November 17–21, so November 14 is the cutoff for winterization this year. Only a few appointments left open on the calendar.
🍁 We’re still scheduling winter projects — transom replacements, engine rebuilds, and interior or floor work. Call, text, or message to discuss your needs.

The last weeks of October are already booked with repeat customers, so if you haven’t reserved your spot for winterization yet, now’s the time to call.

There is 1 spot open for storage this year. Storage at Anchor Marine is protected by a 6’ security fence and your boat is insured while under our care, custody, and control. No one can access your boat except for employees of Anchor Marine.

Now is the time to call and lock in your winter project. There's already 1 Crestliner transom scheduled, 1 Lund transom scheduled, 3 outboard rebuilds and 1 pontoon flooring upgrade.

Another busy summer in the books — thank you to everyone who trusted us with their boats this season. We (me and Banyan) handled a wide range of work, including:
• Insurance claims- from lower unit impacts to storm damage
• Rebuilt a bunch of outboard powerheads
• Prop and skeg repairs
• New fish finder and trolling motor installations
• Added some serious horsepower with the help of Outboard EFI to some customer motors
• Incorporated another diagnostic software system to stay in touch with today’s complex outboards

Grumman center console fishing boat with a rebuilt 1991 Johnson outboard, includes Spartan roller trailer. 90 day warranty on the outboard.
$3499 cash price
Johnson outboard (with tilt and trim) has a newly rebuild powerhead with about 2 hours of run time on it. Pistons are .030 ver, new gaskets, new seals, new thermostat, rebuilt carbs, new fuel pump (mix your own 50:1) new water pump and new prop.
Boat's interior is in excellent shape. No hull leaks. Nice livewell, cooler, fishing pole storage. Has a battery cut off switch. Radio works good, and includes a CD of Jimmy Buffet's Greatest hits!
Spartan trailer is a roller style for easy launching and loading. Tires are in excellent shape. Just replaced the trailer bearings and seals, with new Bearing Buddies. Includes spare tire.
Disclosures: this is a 1986 boat. It has various holes inside from different accessories over the years. There are scratches in the paint and a few dings and dents.
Trailer has some rust here and there.
Motor has some cosmetic imperfections.
