I came across this quote today, and it instantly took me back to one of my favorite moments in Egypt.

While visiting a Nubian village, my heart was drawn to a few children playing together in the sand. I asked our cruise manager if it would be okay to give them each a small gift, and he gently reminded me to ask their parents’ permission first. They smiled and said yes.

The joy on those little faces is the reason I’m smiling in this photo.

It was never about the money. It was about kindness, human connection, and honoring another culture.

I don’t know if I made a difference that day, but I know they made a difference in me. ❤️

Italy is so much more than Rome, Florence, and Venice.

Two years ago, while celebrating my birthday in Italy, I planned a surprise graduation gift for my son. He thought we were spending the day touring the Lamborghini and Pagani factories. What he didn’t know was that I’d arranged a Lamborghini driving experience through the Italian countryside with Bull Bar.

One of my favorite parts of being a Travel Advisor is designing trips around the people taking them. Seeing those plans turn into unforgettable memories never gets old. 🇮🇹 🏎️ 😍
