Airlines often adjust or match competitor fares on Tuesdays around 3PM (in the airline’s time zone).

I’ve personally seen prices drop $80–$150 just by waiting 24–48 hours.

How to try it:

✔️ Search your flight on Monday
✔️ Screenshot the price
✔️ Check again Tuesday around 3PM
✔️ Compare in incognito mode
✔️ Book if it drops

If you don’t pick a seat when booking, airlines often assign you one for free at check-in — and many times it’s a better seat than the cheapest paid option.

Here’s the real trick:

🕒 Check in EXACTLY 24 hours before your flight
📲 Open the seat map before confirming
💺 Switch seats for free if better options opened up

Airlines release unsold preferred seats right before check-in.

I’ve personally seen:
✔️ Exit rows open up
✔️ Window seats appear
✔️ Whole empty rows

Most people search flights with bags included.
Big mistake.

💡 Hack:
When booking on sites like Google Flights or Skyscanner, search for the lowest base fare only.

Then:
1. Book the cheapest flight.
2. Go directly to the airline’s website.
3. Add baggage separately.

👉 Many times the baggage fee added later is cheaper than the “bundle” option.

I’ve seen savings of $40–$120 round trip per person.
