Meet the Office!!

Today we want to shine a light on Blake Atkins, our General Manager, and head of RDX Brokerage. Blake has been with RDX for 12 years, and in the transportation industry for 25 years. He began his career as a dispatcher.

Blake specializes in dry van, hazmat, flatbed, and all logistic solutions for our customers. Blake was appointed by our owners 11 years ago to start up and develop the brokerage company.

When Blake is not in the office, you can find him on the lake relaxing, hanging out, watching sports, or grilling for his family. Blake is passionate about the TN Vols, and the Memphis Grizzlies, he has always loved coaching his children’s sports teams. Blake is a wonderful father to 4 beautiful children, 2 dogs and a cat.

Q: What sets RDX brokerage apart from other brokerage companies? A: The service that RDX Brokerage provides is not only Reliable, Dependable & Xceptional, but also is designed to meet our customer’s needs. Q: If you are talking to a potential customer about RDX Brokerage, what would be your selling point? A: If an issue arises, we are proactive – we propose a solution upfront. If anything, we over-communicate with our clients. We want them to have peace of mind.

Q: How do you think RDX Brokerage benefits our Carrier company? A: Our sales team is heavily involved in pursuing customers that specialize in hazmat/chemical products, so we can secure freight for the RDX Drivers.
