⚠️Roadcheck 2026 is scheduled for May 12–14.

During this annual inspection blitz, CVSA officers will conduct Level I inspections across the U.S., reviewing both vehicle condition and driver compliance.

This year, there is increased focus on ELD records and hours-of-service accuracy.

Updated out-of-service criteria clearly include violations related to ELD tampering and falsified logs.

While most drivers pass inspections, violations still occur — often due to log issues, equipment condition, or lack of preparation.

What does this mean in practice?
• More inspections.
• Closer attention to details.
• Higher risk of delays if something is off.

Staying compliant comes down to preparation — clean logs, properly maintained equipment, and clear processes.
