🚧 Holliston Street Project Update: Road Closure Beginning July 6 🚧

We want to provide an update regarding the upcoming infrastructure improvements on Holliston Street. The town has finalized the water main replacement plan and has coordinated closely with the developer to streamline the upcoming work.

To complete this project as safely and quickly as possible, we have mutually decided to implement a full road closure starting Sunday, July 6.

Our goal is to complete all construction work before the upcoming school year begins. As the project gets underway, we will share regular progress updates to keep the community informed. Please be assured that local access will be maintained, and all residents will have continuous access to their homes throughout the process.

⏳ Why a full closure? Enacting a full closure from the start allows crews to complete the water main replacement and transition immediately into the hill regrading phase. This coordinated approach will significantly expedite both phases of the project, rather than trying to maintain traffic during the water main work only to close the road later.

🗺️ Detours & Schedule: Beginning July 6, the attached detour and traffic plan will remain in effect until both aspects of the work are completed. Please review the map to plan your alternate routes.

📞 Questions? If you have any questions regarding the schedule, detours, or coordination efforts, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our DPW Office at 508-533-3275.

Thank you for your patience as we improve our town's infrastructure!

Shining a spotlight on student excellence and real-world problem-solving! 🌟 Last night, the Select Board recognized five incredible Medway High School students for their award-winning engineering projects.

📱 Bridget Tonelli, Macy Healy, and Isabella Webb (Seniors) won the Project Lead the Way Capstone Program Award for their 'ToneIn App.' Their app helps individuals who struggle to communicate verbally—such as deaf, mute, or speech-impeded individuals—express spoken messages without losing the personal nuances of conversation.

🤖 Jaswanth Bandaru and Tanish Asu (Freshmen) won the Project of Distinction Award for 'Mission: Controller.' They designed a sleek, mounted holder for the VEX V5 controllers in the high school robotics lab that allows for easy charging, protects the gear from damage, and minimizes material waste.

We are so proud of your innovation, empathy, and hard work! 👏 "
