Hello dear friends!Yes, it’s been a while since our last video — but our All Around America RV Adventure is still going strong. In 2024, we traveled from North Dakota to Spokane, and in 2025 continued along Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. Our RV is now waiting in Sacramento for the 2026 season — and the videos are finally catching up.Today, we continue our journey through the northern states. Before reaching icons like Yellowstone and Grand Teton, we made a few quieter stops — including Makoshika State Park and the tiny town of Ekalaka, both full of unexpected surprises.Come along and discover these hidden gems with us. 🚐✨

2024 RV Summer Trip (Continuation)

We were back on the road, officially starting our 2024 RV trip — four months of travel ahead. Dewinterizing the motorhome and Bronco went surprisingly well, with just a few minor hiccups and no major drama. We were excited to reach our very first destination. This season was all about the big and iconic national parks of North America — Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier — and we were kicking it off with the first on our list: Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The best and most convenient way to access it? Medora, North Dakota. So that’s exactly where we were headed.

2024 RV Summer Trip (Continuation)
The day had finally come — the one we’d been looking forward to for months. We were heading to Bismarck, North Dakota, to start our 2024 RV adventure. The plan was to land in Bismarck, stay at a hotel for the night, then pick up our vehicles from storage in the morning. We’d drop the motorhome off at the RV service center, get it back the next day, and finally check in at the Bismarck KOA. Of course… things didn’t go exactly as planned. But hey, that’s part of the adventure, right?

2023 Season Finale
As we neared the final stop of our 2023 Summer/Fall season, a mix of excitement and anticipation filled the air. After more than six months on the road, it was time to wrap up our journey in Bismarck, North Dakota—the place where we would store both of our vehicles for the winter. With only three days to get everything sorted, we had a lot to tackle. Curious to see how it all played out? Let us take you through the story!

2023 RV Summer Trip (Continuation)
As our 2023 season journey neared its end, we spent our final two weeks in North Dakota as planned. We split the last ten days between two incredible campgrounds—Icelandic State Park and Grahams Island State Park—before heading to Bismarck to prepare our vehicles for winter. Both campgrounds turned out to be fantastic stops along our route! Come see why!

2023 RV Summer Trip (Continuation)
We were back on the road, cruising through Minnesota, ready for new adventures. During our journey through Minnesota, we stayed at four campgrounds, two of which were located on lakes—one on Lake Superior and the other on Lake Winnibigoshish. Both lake stays were incredible. Now, it was time to explore what the inland part of Minnesota had to offer. We planned to visit two more campgrounds: one was the private Forest Hills RV & Golf Resort, and the other was a state park—the Red River State Recreation Campground. In this video, I’ll share our experiences at both locations.

2023 Summer Trip Continuation
We departed from our final stop on Lake Superior, marking the end of our nearly three-month journey through the Great Lakes. What an incredible trip it was! Two Great Lakes—Michigan and Superior—majestic, powerful, and each uniquely captivating. Every stop offered something extraordinary, filled with countless unforgettable experiences. We'll miss them deeply.
But now, a new chapter lay ahead: exploring the northern states of Minnesota and North Dakota, the starting point of our long journey westward across northern America.
In Minnesota's heartland, we planned three stops. The first was the most rural and remote of the entire 2023 season, with the nearest town—population fewer than 1,000—over 20 miles away. Yet, it was nestled on one of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes, and not just any lake, but one of the most beautiful in the state Lake Winnibigoshish.

2023 Summer Trip Continuation
We left Duluth after an incredible week filled with the energy of city life. From lively entertainment to cozy cafes and bustling streets, it was a memorable experience. The next six stops in Minnesota and North Dakota promised tranquil, small-town charm, but my anticipation for our upcoming destination, Silver Bay, Minnesota, was high. Nestled along the pristine northern shore of Lake Superior, it is home to Black Beach, a true hidden gem renowned for its unusual black-sand shoreline. Even more exciting, our campground, Black Beach Municipal Campground, was situated right by this natural wonder. During our wonderful stay there, we discovered many more amazing beaches we are excited to share with you!

2023 Summer Trip Continuation
After spending more than two weeks in very rural areas, we were thrilled to arrive at our next destination: Duluth, Minnesota. We had planned nearly a week of fun and exploration in this must-see city along the shores of Lake Superior. It was a really fun stay.
