Of all the Cool Kids Summer perks I experienced at Disney World, the free water park ticket on check-in day was easily my favorite!

Honestly, I think I’ve been underestimating Typhoon Lagoon.

I always thought of it as something you could do if you had an extra day. After actually spending the day there, I totally get why you’d make time for it.

It gives you a completely different pace than a park day without feeling like you’re just hanging out at the hotel pool. You can spend the day getting absolutely destroyed by the wave pool 🌊, get your thrills on all the water slides, float the lazy river, or relax with sand and sunshine with a drink in hand 🍹.

And because it’s Disney, you can still get some special character encounters and fun photo ops sprinkled in!

Typhoon Lagoon will be closing for refurbishment after the summer, but Blizzard Beach will still be open if a water park day sounds like your kind of Disney vacation!

I really hope Disney brings this perk back next year because I LOVED it. But offer or no offer, you can definitely catch me at a Disney water park on future trips!

MNSSHP is in full swing! Most guests know they can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4pm with their Mickey’s-Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket.

But what many don’t realize is that those first three hours set the tone for the rest of the night.

The biggest missed opportunity isn’t just skipping those first three hours… it’s showing up for them without a plan.

Now that doesn’t mean you have to spend that time racing from attraction to attraction to cram it all in. If you want to focus on rides, you can. If you want to focus on food, party shopping, and decor enjoyment, you can!

The key is knowing what makes sense to tackle first, where the crowds tend to go, and which experiences are better earlier versus later in the evening.

That’s what allows you to spend less time figuring it out and more time enjoying the party and making the most of your ticket!

Harry Potter has been a part of my life since childhood 🪄✨

I’ve visited the Wizarding Worlds at Universal before, but when I found myself in Edinburgh, Scotland, the birthplace of Harry Potter and home to so many inspirations for the films, getting a tattoo there just felt right.

Because if you’re going to get a Harry Potter tattoo… where else would you do it??

So when Universal announced an entirely new Wizarding World inside Epic Universe, of course I HAD to go!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter- Ministry of Magic transports you to 1920s Paris, inspired by the Fantastic Beasts films. And the Ministry of Magic ride que? Absolutely jaw-dropping. The level of detail is unreal.

This is what I love about Universal’s Epic Universe. It doesn’t just give you rides and themes. It transports you into entirely different worlds!

And here’s a little insider tip for your visit: make time for Bar Moonshine 🍺

My friend was a huge fan of the Fleur 75, while I took the bartenders recommendation (because he just seemed to know what I’d need) and tried a citrus wheat b**r that was only available in a handful of places worldwide. And it was SO good and in fact, exactly what I needed.

This is a must visit spot, especially if you’ve been waiting for another way to experience the Wizarding World!

Hollywood Studios is getting a brand-new experience on September 14th 🎬✨

And I have a feeling this is going to become a popular stop for families looking for a little more magic, creativity, and… air conditioning. 👀

Located beneath the iconic Sorcerer Mickey hat, the new Magic of Disney Animation experience will bring together:

📖 Off the page- where guests can step into the stories and characters they love
