Firefighting Efforts: Northwest Team 6 continues to manage the fire. There are 908 total personnel, 34 crews, 8 helicopters, 10 engines, 4 bulldozers, and 2 water tenders, and 7 masticators on the scene. For more on the firefighting effort of this particular fire, click here.

The Flat Fire is burning in Oak Flat, 2 miles southeast of Agness. It's now burned upwards of 8,204 acres, and is still 0% contained. There aren't any formal evacuations in place, but available resources are listed below.

Burnt Bridge Road and Bear Camp Road to Agness Road: 20.1 miles

Bald Mountain Road from the junction with FSR 2512: 6.1 miles

Quosatana Road and Agness Road to Hunter Creek Road: 8.3 miles

Wildhorse Road and Agness Road to Hunter Creek Road: 16.4 miles

Hunter Creek Road to end of road near Game Lake: 18.1 miles

Evacuation Centers: The American Red Cross has set up a temporary shelter at the Gold Beach High School for displaced residents and campers. The number to call to get ahold of the shelter is (520) 440-6068. There are cots set up in the gym for sleeping arrangements as well as light snacks and drinks for this evening.
