On most Disney Cruises, there will be a pirate night! You can meet characters like Captain Jack Sparrow and enjoy a special deck show and fireworks (on most cruises). People get super into it and will come with elaborate costumes!

My daughter couldn’t wait to show Captain sparrow her own pirate hat!

When you go to Universal, many rides will require that you put your things in lockers before you ride. These lockers open by scanning. Your ticket and are not large. You want to carry a small backpack or crossbody!

Had an awesome time learning about and experiencing Disneyland! I saw Paint the Night for the first time, did a 70th Anniversary tour, and toured hotels!

I am headed to Disneyland tomorrow to take some tours and keep up with everything that is happening!

As an East Coaster, here are my top 5 things I love about visiting Disneyland (even thought he flight is long)!

1. Everything is walkable - it is awesome to be able to switch parks with a 2 minute walk or walk back to the hotel without having to wait for a bus or boat or something

2. It is more manageable - with only 2 parks, you don’t need as long of a trip

3. Characters are everywhere! - characters will literally just wander around and it makes everything feel magical

4. There are different things! - You can’t find Cars Land, Marvel Campus, and the Holiday layover of Haunted Mansion anywhere, but California right now

5. Flights are the same price - it seems crazy, but flying to California is the same as flying to Florida from NJ
