From highways across America to the streets of Washington, D.C., Bennett helped move the pieces that brought the Freedom 250 Grand Prix to life.
For nearly 150 days, Bennett worked alongside Penske Entertainment Corp. to support the construction of the temporary street circuit celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
The project required more than 500 truckloads moving materials from across the country—including Virginia, Illinois, California, Texas, New York, and Michigan.
From 1,800 precast concrete barrier walls and 300 pit walls to fencing, grandstands, tire bundles, pedestrian bridges, and more, the scale was enormous.
For 30 days, Bennett trucks moved materials through the streets of Washington, D.C., during overnight shifts—coordinating with law enforcement, project teams, drivers, and dispatchers to get the right equipment to the right place at the right time.
The result was more than a race.
It was a celebration of America—and Bennett was proud to help move it forward.
