Join generous community businesses, individuals and volunteers that help "Stock the Shelves" at the Liferaft Pantry serving people in need throughout south Wasco County.

Many thanks to Mt. Hood Brewing Co. for donating their delicious ciders and brews to sell at the Empty Bowls Community Dinner this Saturday. Capacity is limited, so get tickets b4 they sell out! Dinner tickets include mouth-watering soups, salads, and dessert from your favorite local chefs and bakers! Non-alcoholic beverages are also included in the ticket price. Mt Hood beers and ciders and award winning Shadowbuck Wines are $5/glass to help raise funds to stock the shelves at the Liferaft The Life Raft Pantry. Ben Johnson will entertain attendees with delightful music while they browse through the incredible auction items donated by generous businesses and community members.

Ideal time to come to Maupin and go for a stellar bike ride exploring rapids, waterfalls and the only view of Mt Hood from the Deschutes!

The fish are rising, the river is waking up, and the forecast is lining up just right.

Cool mornings. Sunny afternoons. Highs in the 60s. It is the kind of early season weather that makes you want to grab a rod and head for the Deschutes.

Maupin is calling for quick spring adventures. Spend the day casting to rising fish, exploring the canyon, and soaking in wide open skies. Then come back to comfort at Imperial.

Stay in the lodge for a cozy night with river views, or pull into our RV park and park right along the water. Either way, you are steps from the action and right where you need to be.

The season is shifting. Time to start making your way to Maupin.
