Lamb & Associates Packaging, Inc.'s founder, Jerry Lamb, would have been 83 today. Below is a tribute to his football days at the University of Arkansas for those who did not know him outside the business world. He was a force to be reckoned with on and off the field. We are grateful for his hard work, foresight, and dedication to making Lamb & Associates what it is today. He will be forever missed.

⭐This Day In Arkansas Sports Hall Of Fame History - A Star Is Born⭐
A native of Houston, TX, Jerry Lamb was a three-year starting end for the Razorbacks. In 1962, he led the Hogs in pass receiving, named “Sophomore Lineman of the Year” for the SW conference, and was named third-team All-SWC by the United Press. In 1963, he led the team in pass receiving again and was named first-team All-SWC. Because of the substitution rules during his first two years on the varsity, Jerry played both offense and defense. As a senior in 1964, he was an offensive end for the national championship Razorbacks, repeated as first-team All-SWC, and was named first-team All-America by “Sport” magazine. After the Cotton Bowl victory, he played in the Hula Bowl All-Star game. He finished his career as the second-leading pass receiver in Razorback history. He was later inducted into the UA Sports Hall of Honor, the 1960 All-Decade Team, and the SEC Football Legends. He played professional football for the Kansas City Chiefs. Lamb is a 2001 ASHOF Inductee.

Congratulation to our Safety Slogan Winner!
Larry Fowler, a dedicated employee at the Lamb & Associates Packaging, recently took home the top prize in the company's safety slogan contest. His creative slogan not only caught the attention of his coworkers but also impressed the Safety Team with its simplicity and effectiveness.
The safety slogan contest was part of the company's ongoing efforts to promote a safe work environment for all employees. With workplace safety being a top priority, employees were encouraged to come up with catchy and memorable slogans that would remind everyone to prioritize safety in their daily tasks.

Larry Fowler saw this contest as an opportunity to make a positive impact on his colleagues. After much deliberation, Larry came up with the winning slogan: "Quality 1st, Production 2nd and Safety always." This short but impactful phrase encapsulated the importance of prioritizing safety above all else in any given situation. It served as a powerful reminder for everyone in the workplace to never compromise on safety measures, no matter how urgent or pressing their tasks may be.

As a reward for his outstanding contribution, Larry was presented with a Texas Roadhouse gift card as well as recognition from management during a company-wide meeting. Larry, winning the contest was not just about receiving accolades or prizes – it was about making a difference in the workplace. He hoped that his slogan would serve as a constant reminder for everyone to stay vigilant when it came to following safety protocols and looking out for one another.

Larry Fowler's success in the safety slogan contest has proven that sometimes simple ideas can have a big impact. By emphasizing the importance of putting safety first in everything we do, he has helped create a culture of awareness and responsibility within his workplace – ensuring that everyone goes home safely at the end of each day.
