Why do bus drivers wave at each other? 🤔
I can tell you why I do it.

It's not because I'm a morning person and Mary Poppins my way through life with 5lbs pounds of sugar in my coffee.
It's not because "Hey, look at me! I'm a bus driver too!"
It's not because I have a positive disposition and dance in green fields while singing to birds.

It's a silent conversation. I'm saying to you:
I get it. You're exhausted.
I get it. You got up well before sunrise.
I get it. You more than likely have one or more "not so pleasant" students on your bus who won't quiet down and stay seated.
I get it. You have 7 mirrors to watch. A bus load of students to watch. Aggressive car drivers to watch.
I get it. Impatient people are blowing through your reds and you immediately count heads.
I get it. Not every school works with you when there's an issue with a student.

And through all of that, you get up and do it again and again every single school day. And most of us do it with a smile and kind words for our kiddos.

I will also wave to Links bus drivers. And they wave back. They, too, are responsible for lives. Do they deserve less?

So, when I wave to you, that is my silent conversation to YOU letting you know that I GET IT! We're a community and NO ONE understands what we do better than us.

Also... if I wave, and you don't wave back, I might have muttered under my breath "snot face". 😅😂🤣

Apparently someone has found another way to hurt and offend people for No reason. Here is a heads up for everyone. There is a new hack on FB. It includes a hurtful phrase coming from you. It is usually very dirty and appears that you have written it. You will NOT see it, but your friends will. This creates many misunderstandings. So to all of my contacts, if anything shocking, inappropriate, or indecent shows up ,it's not from me. You may wish to copy this to your wall. 😤😤🤦‍♀️🤯 - 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️👍 you all know me so you'd be able to identify the fact that whatever it is is not from me reach out to me cuz everybody that knows me knows how to reach me one way or another
