🚜✈️ Apparently this year’s obstacle course wasn’t challenging enough…

While we are building our own place, we are still operating out of Marshall’s Airport until it is fully completed.

This season, Allred Aerial has been directed that we and more importantly, our customers must access our loading and staging area by driving down the fuel access road instead of using the wide concrete tarmac that has safely served our operation for years.

This change followed “concerns” raised by an out-of-town operator, and the municipality has chosen to implement restrictions that primarily affect Allred Aerial, a locally owned business, and the growers we proudly serve.

What makes this especially frustrating is the inconsistency.

The same out-of-town operator who raised these concerns continues to use and occupy other portions of the tarmac with vehicles and equipment and is permitted to drive through the very area that Allred Aerial, our employees, and our customers are now being told to avoid.

We’re simply asking for equal treatment. If one operator can safely use the tarmac, then the same standard should apply to everyone.

For those unfamiliar with aerial application operations, this isn’t just a matter of convenience. During the busy spray season, our staging area sees constant movement of tender trucks, trailers, fuel trucks, other support vehicles, and growers. The concrete tarmac has provided safe and efficient access for years. Redirecting that traffic onto the fuel access road creates unnecessary delays and introduces additional vehicle traffic into an area intended primarily for fueling operations.

Agricultural aviation depends on efficiency, coordination, and above all, SAFETY. Every unnecessary detour slows operations.

This isn’t about special treatment. It’s about fair treatment, practical decision making, and policies that support safe airport operations for everyone, not just some.

So, if you happen to see a convoy of trucks taking the scenic route this season… don’t worry, we haven’t gotten lost. 😅 We’re simply following the unfair rules we’ve been given.

No matter the obstacles, our commitment hasn’t changed.

✅ Safety comes first.
✅ Our growers come first.
✅ We’ll continue providing the dependable aerial application service our customers have trusted for years.

Thank you to our customers and community for your continued support. As a locally owned business, we’re proud to serve the farmers who keep this region thriving, and we’ll continue advocating for common-sense solutions that benefit agriculture, aviation, and our community alike.

It’s going to be a hot one today. Stay hydrated !

We’re pausing after the loads we ran this morning.

If you’re needing to schedule, I’ll be in the office most of today.

Give us a call or stop in, and get your fields put in.

Thank you all for supporting your favorite local aerial applicator!

Here’s a horrible AI altered picture of the new place so far, for tax. 😝

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July from the Crew! 🇺🇸

In the spirit of Jennifer Coolidge herself: this photo looks like the Fourth of July… makes me want a hotdog real bad. 🌭🇺🇸.

We are ready for the corn run; the crew is festive, and yes… the Shake & Bake button is standing by. But for the 4th of July, there will be no “slingshot: engaged,” no Shake & Bake today.

Out of respect for the holiday, fireworks, cookouts, family time, and everyone’s safety, we will not be flying. No buzzing fields, no surprise “crop duster fly-bys” while you’re flipping burgers. 😉

That being said, I’m still available for phone calls, and mapping, so feel free to reach out if you need to get on the schedule or plan ahead.

Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and blessed 4th of July!
Enjoy the fireworks, and remember Allred Aerial, your local air support for all your 2026 crop support. 🇺🇸✈️🌽
