What can you find in the Hell Creek Formation? 🦖
The Hell Creek Formation represents one of the last dinosaur-dominated ecosystems on Earth, right before the mass extinction 66 million years ago.
Some of the most commonly found fossils include:
Triceratops, Edmontosaurus, turtles, fish, crocodilians and a wide variety of plant fossils
Less common—but absolutely real—discoveries include:
Tyrannosaurs, dromaeosaurs, ornithomimids, Ankylosaurus and early mammals.
And the best part? You could be the one to find one. Our 2026 field season is open.
We’re still running our sale on 3-Day Charters, but spots are filling fast.
