Our dump truck was hit. The catalytic converter stealers are back at it again in the marion and cedar rapids area keep an eye out

FREEZE PROTECTION OF SYSTEMS STARTED: turn system on and while system is running shut the water off inside to help pull some of the water out of the backflow device. And cover with towel or old blanket to insulate the backflow. Then turn controller off. Once temps get above freezing turn water back on to be ready to use system.

As of this morning 8/14/20 we are still without power, internet and business line. As a lot of our customers had damages from the storm we have taken a lot of damage at my personal home a long with the office. I hope everyone is safe and doing alright. We at Schultz FYG will be back to work hopefully by mid next to get caught up to missed scheduled repairs from this week and keep striding forward. Thank you for your patience,

5/5/20 cold and rainy day for start-ups

With the 1st week of start-ups under our belt and heading into week #2 Mother Nature will be toying with us. Starting tonight April 12 night-time lows will flirt with the below freezing temps and day-time highs being in the low to high 40's through Friday. The main places vulnerable to possibly freezing are the pipes and backflow on the side of the house. Precautions to avoid freezing would be to cover with blanket or towels. Thank you.

Schultz FYG Irrigation is looking for a full time irrigation technician. Job responsibilities include installation, service and repair of new and existing sprinkler systems (no experience needed, will train). Applicant must work well with others and be able to communicate effectively with our customers. A driver's license is preferred and must be 18 years of age. 2-3 open positions.

We will holding a family friendly fundraiser for Iowa Donor Network at our place on Fri, Sept 7 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Free admission to live music by thee Carol Montag & thee Carlis Faurot!!!! There will be a silent auction in greenhouse.

We will soon be asking for sponsors to help cover accrued costs.

But right now, we're asking for volunteers to help before and during event. If you are interested please contact Kristin Schultz on messenger.

Also if you would like to donate something for the silent auction please contact me. Iowa Donor Network is a 501C3 non profit organization..receipts are available.
