Driver Spotlight: RICKY JOHNSON

Ricky has been a valued member of the KTI family since January 2021. Throughout his time with us, he has proven to be one of our most dedicated and loyal drivers.

Before entering the trucking industry, Ricky attended the Tennessee Technology Center, where he studied to become an HVAC Technician. He later spent a year driving dump trucks before earning his Class A CDL through Roadmaster. Since then, he has built a successful trucking career and has been driving professionally for more than 10 years.

Ricky’s strong work ethic, commitment and dependable attitude make him a tremendous asset to KTI. We are grateful for his dedication and proud to have him as part of our team.

Driver Spotlight & Birthday Recognition: Bobby Nash

Today we are proud to recognize Bobby Nash for more than 21 years of dedicated service with KTI—and to celebrate his birthday! 🎂

Bobby began his journey with KTI as a subcontractor driving someone else’s truck. Through hard work, determination, and an entrepreneurial mindset, he purchased his own truck and continued growing his business. What started with one truck has grown into an impressive operation. Today, Bobby has 12 trucks leased to KTI and oversees a team of 10 drivers.

Keeping up with a fleet of trucks and drivers is no small task. Between maintenance, repairs, supporting his drivers, and helping KTI with just about anything that needs attention, Bobby stays incredibly busy. In fact, he spends so much time managing his operation and helping others that he rarely gets the opportunity to be in the truck himself these days.

Over the years, Bobby has become much more than a driver. He is a business owner, maintenance man, problem solver, truck driver, and often the go-to person for anything the girls in the office need taken care of. He has even dedicated his time to hauling grain for the farm. His willingness to help, strong work ethic, and commitment to KTI have made him an invaluable part of our family.

Please join us in thanking Bobby for his 21 years of service and wishing him a very Happy Birthday! We hope your day is filled with happiness, laughter, and all the things you enjoy most. Driver Spotlight: Ben Perkins

For more than 10½ years, Ben has been an important part of the KTI family. Throughout his time with us, he has built a reputation for outstanding customer service, reliability, and an unmatched work ethic.

Ben has become a favorite among many of our customers and is often specifically requested because they know they can count on him to get the job done right. His commitment to putting in long hours, working hard, and always giving his best is what makes him one of KTI’s star drivers.

Driver Spotlight: Brian Carter

Brian Carter has been a valued member of the KTI family for over 11 years. His commitment to long hours and willingness to go the extra mile have made him a tremendous asset to our company.

Before joining the trucking industry, Brian owned and operated a professional painting business. He made the transition to driving trucks and hauling containers, where he quickly built a reputation for reliability and hard work. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Brian has also ventured into the American Bully breeding business, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and determination to succeed.

Brian’s drive, ambition, and positive attitude have been an inspiration to those around him. We are proud to have Brian as part of the KTI family and truly appreciate everything he does to contribute to our success.
