Effective July 1, 2025, boats with fuel systems exceeding 3 gallons must be equipped with a water separator system and new plugs upon servicing. The Sheffler family's involvement in the boat business was initiated by Bob Drury, Chris Sheffler's grandfather, who described Mercury outboards as one-season sensations in the 1960s. Chris, now chief operating officer for APC Family of Business, recognizes there grandfather's foundational role. Furthermore, Andy Sheffler, Chris's father, established APC in downtown Marion in August 2002, a milestone marked by this week's anniversary of his purchase of the current location. The Sheffler family is thankful for the loyalty and support of their customers and friends.
