The Friendship Club is a great place for people with physical and mental disabilities, to have the opportunity to interact with one another, in activities around the community! The Friendship Club provides transportation and supervision to activities including, Ocean City, The Centre at Salisbury, The Baltimore Aquarium, Washington Zoo, Salisbury Zoo, Chincoteague and Assateag

ue, Va., as well as bingo, arts and crafts, bar-b-ques, swimming and numerous other activities. We have a bowling team, "The Somerset Slammers" that meets every other Tuesday at Eastern Shore Lanes in Pocomoke City, MD. We currently provide services for 14 community clients of Somerset Community Services, Inc.

The Friendship Club will be going on an outing to Leonard Mill park on Tuesday, June 21st. We will also be getting snowballs. I look forward to spending time with each of my members.

The Friendship Club enjoyed an outing to The Red Roof restaurant for lunch on June 18th. The weather was absolutely beautiful and everyone had a good time!

The Friendship Club had a fun bingo (DVD) night on the 14th. They were very happy that they won movies! A special thank you to Ryan Ross for donating the movies! All of the members send you a hug!

The Friendship Club will be having "Dinner & Movie Night" tomorrow, June 7th @ 3:00. We will be seeing, "Madea Goes to Jail", which always makes us laugh! Hot dogs, baked beans, potato chips, bananas and juice will be our dinner. We will be having brownies for dessert. There is no charge for this activity!

The Friendship Club has been so busy, we haven't made time for our updates! We have a great month planned with many fun activities for our members! We will be having Movie Night on Tuesday 06/07/16. The members will be having dinner during the movie! I will be providing transportation for this activity. Hope to see you all there.

Today, the Friendship Club will be having their annual bowlers banquet at Texas Roadhouse! Such a great group of people, who have done an amazing job this year! 15 special people with unique talents! Trophies will be awarded to all members for their participation! I am so proud of all of my members for showing kindness and supporting each other this season!!

The Friendship Club is having Christmas movie day with lunch!! We have a lot of excited members!

The Friendship Club had a wonderful Christmas dinner party tonight!! Our members exchanged gifts and received gift cards! Thanks to S.C.S./ Mr. Sandy Adkins for all of your support!
