First FSS Compost Accelerator™ launched in Canada!
Excited to work with the passionate and dedicated team at La Cage in Montreal (Quebec) as they implement their first food waste dehydrator as part of their Sustainability Goals to reduce methane emissions. Major on-site reduction of material that will be channeled into a beneficial re-use stream in a Closed-Loop process that utilizes the nutrients instead of landfilling them. She and her team were honored at the School Nutrition Association's annual national conference for their Stewardship and Sustainability achievements! Maria and her team continue to raise the bar on waste diversion of cafeteria "waste" in K-12 Schools, while saving the district money by helping to significantly reduce waste disposal costs. They stand in front of the 19th StyroGenie thermal foam densifier that Alachua County will implement this week.
