✈️Exciting news! The Marana Regional Airport will receive $800,000 in federal grant money to support design for our future air traffic control tower.

“We are excited to receive funding support from the FAA for the design of an air traffic control tower at Marana Regional Airport,” said Newly Appointed Project Manager Dennis Horn. “This tower will help enhance the safety and efficiency of airport operations while supporting the airport’s continued growth.”

“This funding marks an important milestone for our airport, and we are grateful for the support from our partners and staff who helped move this project forward,” said Airport Manager Galen Beem.

In a major investment for aviation safety nationwide, the Marana Regional Airport will receive $800,000 in federal grant money to design a future air traffic control tower.

Today, members of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) came to our station and met with our command staff. They presented a letter commending the Marana Police Department on the high level of professionalism and inter-agency coordination when responding to aircraft related incidents.
