Center-Line Group, of which Center-Line Trailers is the curtain side manufacturing division, announced today that all steel components will be galvanized as standard practice.
“Galvanizing all components of the trailer ensures that the life of our trailers will be longer than other manufacturers. Some have gone to aluminum front and rear posts, and although lighter, they just don’t hold up in the long run. That was not an option for us. Longevity and profitability are the main concern for our customers. We see ourselves as an extension of our customer’s business and therefore we have to be innovative and help them be more profitable”, says Rick Benton, President and CEO.
Harry Young, Production Manager for Center-Line Trailers said, “Curtain side trailers run in some harsh climates, we had to find a way to make these trailers stand up to that. Galvanizing these critical components is key to the length of life for these trailers. Our customers can count on these parts lasting not just years, but decades, in excellent condition.”
